Playlist Buddy is temporarily setting playlist conversions limits at 250 songs per playlist. If you wish to convert more, you’ll need to split up your playlist in Spotify and convert them separately.

Why?? I love converting big playlists!

Two main reasons

1. Quota - YouTube limits how many songs per day I can convert for everyone. This is a shared resource and I want to divy it up fairly.
2. The Playlist Buddy algorithm works better on smaller playlists. On large playlist, some users have reported low success rates. Success rates should be very high, so shorter playlists = high success rates.

How long will this last?

If I see fewer users complaining about quota errors and conversion rates, this may be the new normal.

Asking YouTube for a larger quota

I’m currently in the process of asking for a larger quota to serve you. If they say yes, then I’ll likely be able to make the playlist size a bit larger going forward.
